Impact Oklahoma, a group of women making transformational grants to central Oklahoma nonprofits, is excited to announce its annual meeting.
The annual event is Thursday evening, May 19th at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum with an invitation to both members and nonmembers. Impact Oklahoma members will award $100,000 to the project that receives the most votes.
Ending its 16th year, Impact Oklahoma has awarded more than $3.7 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in central Oklahoma. The number of $100,000 grants given annually is contingent upon the number of members who join, with $1,000 of each member’s dues and $500 of each junior member’s dues going into the grant pool.
The annual meeting is a chance for members to hear directly from the five finalists who applied for a $100,000 grant to fund an innovative new project they may not be able to undertake without the grant.
Our five focus area finalists for 2022 are:
- Jubilee Partners – Kitchen and Playground Remodel
- Mental Health Association of Oklahoma – Health and Wellness Program
- Daily Living Centers – Our Daily Life Impact Oklahoma Programs
- Not Your Average Joe – Not Your Average Event
- El Sistema Oklahoma – Vocal Arts Program
